I have been holding some depreciating stocks for quite a while now. It is now that this company is restructuring, but I cannot purchase any more stock in the company. I have been losing money in this pick and now when the opportunity to replinish my losses appears I cannot.
Just my two cents about placing minimun purchase and short sell numbers. Maybe the powers that be could determine the possibility of no minimums depending on the specific user.

I haven't tried this one but I do see many investors here do this and it is a problem you encounter on all free trading sites.
All you do is open two accounts. One account you do your long picks. The other account you short the same picks. One of these accounts will go way up and you will look like a genius. The other one, no one will know about.
I see some traders do this and the funny thing is you will see them as one of the Top10 for the day with $7,000 profit. Then their op ... (more) |

Let's say I want to buy ABC and it is currently at $10. I put in an order to buy.
Now I understand that this site uses a 20 minute delay. So if you buy now your order is not executed for 20 minutes.
What I thought should happen is that you should get the price the stock was at when you placed it, eventhough the trade is not placed in the databa ... (more) |

EW reported earnings after the close today. There was zero
in the report to suggest keeping it near a 52-week high when
it opens tomorrow. If it opens above 56, put a few
bones immediately into some August 50 puts. Methinks
someone is on both sides of those trades in EW after hours.

The point is, ladies and gentleman, that greed, for lack of a better word, is good. Greed is right, greed works. Greed clarifies, cuts through, and captures the essence of the evolutionary spirit. Greed, in all of its forms; greed for life, for money, for love, knowledge has marked the upward surge of mankind.
